Suitability for tutoring
I highly recommend Antony Antoniou as a candidate for the position of tutor for private one-to-one tuition. I have had the pleasure of working under his supervision during my PhD studies in the field of immunology. As a teacher he is very dedicated and patient. He is passionate about life science and develops inspiring relationships with students. He was able to teach me complex problems easily (he provided graphs and drawings) and was able to help me solving challenging tasks in friendly and non stressful atmosphere. He is very responsible when teaching and always makes sure that the given matter was understood by me.

Suitability for tutoring
I worked in Dr Antoniou's lab for eight weeks. During the period, he was shown to be a great mentor as well as an amazing teacher. He always explained complex concepts clearly and succinctly, so they are easy to understand. His positive attitudes and passion towards academia were infectious, and inspired me to later pursue further research work. I have always felt encouraged. He did not only offer intellectual knowledge, but also career and personal development advice, which were very useful beyond my short period of studying under him. Dr Antoniou is a supervisor/teacher who truly carers about his students. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
