Psychology & SEN support teacher with First class degree

£27 per hour

I am a psychology teacher and SEN support teacher (across gcse curriculum) with first class honours in psychology from Birkbeck university. I specialise in 1:1 and small group learning.
I teach all gcse and a level psychology topics as well as many undergraduate modules including research methods and critical analysis.
My tutoring can be an extension of what is currently being taught in class or independent study. I am able to provide worksheets and revision materials. Students will be required to provide any textbooks/revision guides for the syllabus they are studying. (At A level all students should have their own books).
I can also offer tuition in GCSE maths and science specialising in foundation level (5-1 or C-G papers).
Whether you are a prospective student wanting to start your course with good subject knowledge, an AS student looking to progress to A level or a current student wanting to improve your grade - I can support you.

Tutoring / Teaching Experience

Two years experience tutoring psychology at A level and gcse maths. One year experience as 1:1 SEN support teaching at gcse level across curriculum and teaching psychology at A level. Also, one year experience running the psychology department at a college.

Tutoring experience:4 years

Laura performed well on our BSc Psychology programme, completing the degree with first class honours following 4 years part-time study (October 2012 to July 2016). She did particularly well in her final year modules, including her dissertation, achieving first-class results in four of five modules (and as noted, overall first class honours).
